Soccer Recap: Cheney Takes a Loss

Cheney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ridgeline Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ridgeline this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Cheney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ridgeline, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheney will square off against Medical Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ridgeline, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Gonzaga Prep at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th.
