Softball Recap: Adams Central Comes Up Short

Adams Central lost against South Adams back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Flying Jets lost 15-5 to the Starfires. The Flying Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Melina Peralez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Adams Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for South Adams, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.

Coming up, Adams Central will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Angola at 10:00 a.m. As for South Adams, they are taking a road trip to challenge Eastbrook at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
