Softball Game Preview: Lincolnview Lancers vs. Ada Bulldogs

The Lincolnview Lancers will face off against the Ada Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lincolnview's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Lima Central Catholic as they made off with a 13-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Lancers, who have now won six contests in a row.

Meanwhile, Ada had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Golden Gophers 8-1.

Ada pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lincolnview, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Lincolnview came out on top in a nail-biter against Ada in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
