Basketball Game Preview: Alvirne Broncos vs. Dover Green Wave

The Alvirne Broncos will take on the Dover Green Wave at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Alvirne didn't have quite enough to beat Merrimack and fell 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Broncos have suffered against the Tomahawks since December 20, 2019.

Meanwhile, Dover entered their tilt with Nashua South on Friday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Purple Panthers 65-37. The Green Wave have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Dover's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points over those games. As for Alvirne, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
