Soccer Recap: Kamiakin Comes Up Short

Kamiakin managed to keep up with Richland until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Braves came up short against the Bombers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kamiakin of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Kamiakin has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Richland, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kamiakin will face off against rival Hermiston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Richland is set to challenge their familiar foe Pasco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
