Basketball Recap: Indian River Extends Winning Streak to Four

Indian River had won three straight games and Allison LaMora did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Indian River Wolves came out on top against the Cortland Purple Tigers by a score of 45-37 thanks in part to LaMora, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. She has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last seven times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Keera LaLonde, who posted nine points in addition to seven assists and three steals. Those seven assists gave her a new career-high.

Indian River's victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Indian River and Notre Dame will round out the year against one another at at 3:44 p.m. on December 30th. As for Cortland, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Jordan-Elbridge at 1:00 p.m.
