Smithtown West is a perfect 6-0 against West Babylon since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Smithtown West will be playing at home against West Babylon at 5:15 p.m. Smithtown West will be strutting in after a win while West Babylon will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Smithtown West made easy work of Half Hollow Hills East and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Smithtown West.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-14.

Smithtown West can attribute much of their success to Nicole Zarcone, who had six digs and six aces. That's the most aces Zarcone has posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, West Babylon was not able to break out of their rough patch back in September as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Smithtown East, falling 3-0.

While West Babylon was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-23.

West Babylon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Smithtown West, their win bumped their record up to 16-4-1.

Everything went Smithtown West's way against West Babylon in their previous meeting back in September, as Smithtown West made off with a 3-0 victory. Does Smithtown West have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Babylon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
