After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pine Lake Prep, Community School of Davidson was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Langtree Charter Academy Lions a 9-0 shutout. Community School of Davidson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Langtree Charter Academy from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Lia Puma led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Community School of Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those seven matches. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-18.
