Volleyball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Salem Sayers Baptist Academy, falling 3-0. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Salem Sayers Baptist Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2016.

While Legacy Christian Academy was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 25-23.

Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Salem Sayers Baptist Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Legacy Christian Academy will square off against Lifegate Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Salem Sayers Baptist Academy, they will challenge Winston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
