Basketball Recap: Lee's Summit North Takes a Loss

Lee's Summit North was the 45-43 winner over Lee's Summit West when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lee's Summit North Broncos lost to the Lee's Summit West Titans at home by a 62-46 margin on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Broncos came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Titans are ranked 92nd).

Lee's Summit North's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Lee's Summit West, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Looking ahead, Lee's Summit North won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Liberty North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lee's Summit West, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Blue Springs South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
