Baseball Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

Orange entered their contest against Whittier Christian on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Orange Panthers fell just short of the Whittier Christian Heralds by a score of 6-4. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Orange saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Vergara, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Orange fell to 2-1-1. As for Whittier Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Orange is taking a road trip to take on Sunny Hills at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whittier Christian, they will welcome Trabuco Hills at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Trabuco Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.
