Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Triumphs

Maricopa saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes by a score of 2-0.

Maricopa's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Maricopa will be taking part in a tournament against Boulder Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they will take on St. Mary's in a tournament on Saturday.
