Olive Branch came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 71-37 victory over the Center Hill Mustangs. The Conquistadors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Center Hill lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Madison S. Hughes, who posted 15 points and eight boards. S. Hughes' morning made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Olive Branch's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points over those games. As for Center Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.

Coming up, Olive Branch will be playing in front of their home fans against Neshoba Central at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Olive Branch knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Neshoba Central likes a good challenge. As for Center Hill, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-50 victory against Lake Cormorant on the 7th.
