It was a good run, but Glenbrook North unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lakes Eagles by a score of 5-4. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 12-1.

Glenbrook North's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Lakes, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Glenbrook North will square off against Glenbrook South at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lakes, they will welcome Antioch at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sequoits will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
