Basketball Recap: Au Gres-Sims Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Analeis Ming and Sophie Fox

Au Gres-Sims entered their contest against Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Au Gres-Sims Wolverines lost 50-26 to the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Au Gres-Sims' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sophie Fox, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards, and Analeis Ming, who posted three points along with seven steals and five assists. Ming is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Ariel Johnson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
