Fans got a thrill when Coleman Key and Austin Reed connected against Sapulpa. The longest such play in 6A District 2 this season, the connection resulted in 75 yards.

Jenks added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Bixby, 45-7. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Trojans.

Key threw for 316 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was 11-15 with 0 interceptions.

Key and Devon Thomas gave Broken Arrow a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Teammate Braylon Terrell added to the ground attack by rushing for 74 yards.

Thanks to the talents of Marshall Ray and Nic Roller, the Spartans have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Ray is tops in the league in passing with 2,036 yards, while Roller has rushed for 879 yards this season. The Tigers' Reed leads the league in receiving yards with 948 on 52 catches.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Westmoore and Broken Arrow. The Jaguars comes into the matchup ranked fifth in the state, while Steve Spavital's team ranks third.

The Tigers' Reed is only 52 receiving yards away from breaking 1,000 receiving yards this season as he enters this week's game against the Westmoore. He has recorded 52 catches for 948 yards this year.

One of 6A District 2's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Bixby and Muskogee face off next week.

The Jaguars took down Edison 56-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
