Archbishop McCarthy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the McArthur Mustangs on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Mavericks sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Raquel Hurtado was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine aces. Those nine aces gave her a new career-high. Oprah Povea also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Archbishop McCarthy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Archbishop McCarthy's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for McArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

As of now, neither Archbishop McCarthy nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
