Baseball Recap: Seminole Takes a Loss

Seminole lost against Lake Mary last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seminoles came up short against the Rams, falling 11-5. The Seminoles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Seminole got a good showing from Brody Rimes, who pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Rimes has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ethan Farrington was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Seminole's record now sits at 4-21. As for Lake Mary, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season.

While Seminole had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
