Soccer Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss

Wayne County fell victim to Battle Creek and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Battle Creek Grizzlies. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Battle Creek, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Battle Creek, they will square off against Culleoka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
