Soccer Recap: Lutheran Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Lutheran and Evergreen squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lutheran had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cougars. If Lutheran were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Evergreen when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lutheran's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4-1. As for Evergreen, they pushed their record up to 16-1-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Evergreen, they will challenge Windsor at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Evergreen's offense will have their work cut out for them.
