Baseball Recap: Ossining Comes Up Short

Ossining was the 4-3 winner over Port Chester when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Pride took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams on Saturday.

Ossining's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Port Chester, their record is now 5-9.

Ossining and Port Chester could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Pride (ranked 440th) will meet White Plains (ranked 177th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Port Chester will take on Scarsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (471 vs. 89).
