Football Recap: Rio Rico Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rio Rico lost against Sahuarita back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks were outmatched by the Mustangs and fell 42-14. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Rio Rico took the loss, they still got scores from Abiel Yanez and Aldo Santos.

Rio Rico's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sahuarita, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Rico will welcome Empire at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ravens will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Sahuarita, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rincon/University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Rangers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
