Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DeKalb Barons.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 24-26, 25-23.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for DeKalb, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger will take on Norwell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DeKalb, they will face off against Fort Wayne South Side at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
