Volleyball Recap: Verndale Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Verndale hadn't done well against New York Mills recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Pirates came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Pirates' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Verndale is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for New York Mills, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Verndale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on the 16th. As for New York Mills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Roseau on the 16th.
