Football Game Preview: Quitman Panthers vs. Northeast Lauderdale Trojans + How To Watch

The Quitman Panthers will challenge the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Quitman will be strutting in after a win while Northeast Lauderdale will be coming in after a defeat.

Quitman is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Pisgah 50-2 on Thursday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-2.

Bryce Gavin was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 207 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 54 yards and one score on only five carries. Another player making a difference was Shunzarious Dear, who picked up 72 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, Northeast Lauderdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-20 heartbreaker at the hands of Choctaw Central.

Northeast Lauderdale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Quitman, they moved to 3-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
