Baseball Recap: Anaheim Comes Up Short

Anaheim lost a heartbreaker to Estancia when they met last Tuesday, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Colonists took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Colonists in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Angel Rojas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits.

Anaheim's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Estancia, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
