Capital won against Glacier last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Capital Bruins blew past the Big Sky Eagles 35-7 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

Merek Mihelish continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 295 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown. A healthy portion of that aerial production (125 yards to be exact) went to Conor Toivonen.

Capital wouldn't let Big Sky keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Walker Desrosier, Jackson McMillan, and Dustin Campbell picked up one apiece.

The win (which was Capital's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. As for Big Sky, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Capital's road trip will continue as they head out to face Flathead at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Capital is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 38.1 points per game this season. As for Big Sky, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Helena at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
