Basketball Game Preview: Atlantic Christian Sharks vs. Lake Worth Christian Defenders

Atlantic Christian and Lake Worth Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Atlantic Christian Sharks will take on the Lake Worth Christian Defenders on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Atlantic Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Trinity Christian Academy 78-43. The victory was nothing new for the Sharks as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Meanwhile, Lake Worth Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knights 78-43.

Lake Worth Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Atlantic Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.

Atlantic Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lake Worth Christian in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 53-47 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Atlantic Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
