Heritage Christian came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Whitefield Academy Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Lions back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

One reason for the win was Heritage Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-9.

Heritage Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Whitefield Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Coming up, Heritage Christian will head out on the road to challenge New Hope Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitefield Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
