Softball Recap: Moravia Comes Up Short

Moravia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Melcher-Dallas Saints, falling 16-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mohawks have suffered against the Saints since July 6, 2020.

Moravia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Melcher-Dallas, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Moravia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 22-0 loss against Carlisle on the 31st. As for Melcher-Dallas, they will face off against Ankeny Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
