Basketball Game Preview: Northside Christian Lions vs. Russia Raiders

The Northside Christian Lions will square off against the Russia Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Northside Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Shekinah Christian 58-33. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Russia put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Cincinnati College Prep Academy for the full four quarters, racking up an 83-45 win. With the Raiders ahead 47-25 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Russia pushed their record up to 25-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. As for Northside Christian, their win bumped their record up to 19-6.
