Baseball Game Preview: Bishop Ready Silver Knights vs. Briggs Bruins

The Bishop Ready Silver Knights will take on the Briggs Bruins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bishop Ready hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Bishop Ready came up short against Licking Heights on Thursday, falling 8-2.

Bishop Ready saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Mutnich, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Briggs lost 13-3 to Grandview Heights on Friday. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bishop Ready's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Briggs, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Bishop Ready came out on top in a nail-biter against Briggs when the teams last played back in April of 2022, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Silver Knights repeat their success, or do the Bruins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
