Refugio has gone 9-1 against Kenedy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Refugio Bobcats face off against Kenedy Lions at 6:00 p.m.
Refugio fell victim to Woodsboro and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Bobcats have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.
Meanwhile, Kenedy came tearing into Monday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Longhorns by a score of 7-3.
Marisabel Solis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits.
On the hitting side, Kayla Salas was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
