Basketball Recap: Red Level Takes a Loss

Red Level was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 60-37 to the Elba Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Red Level this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-44 two weeks ago.

Red Level's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Elba, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season.

Red Level and Elba could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Red Level (ranked 434th) will meet Brantley (ranked 130th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Elba will take on Georgiana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 327 places (406 vs. 79).
