Softball Recap: South Caldwell Beats Maiden for Their Fourth Straight Victory

While South Caldwell put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Maiden. The South Caldwell Spartans put the hurt on the Maiden Blue Devils with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by ten runs or more this season.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Maiden, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.
