Softball Recap: Bridges Prep Comes Up Short

After flying high against Whale Branch last Friday, Bridges Prep came back down to earth. The Bridges Prep Buccaneers came up short against the Barnwell Warhorses on Tuesday, falling 15-0.

Bridges Prep's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Barnwell, their record now sits at 4-1.

Coming up, Bridges Prep will look to defend their home field on Friday against Barnwell at 7:00 p.m. As for Barnwell, they are taking a road trip to face off against Saluda at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Barnwell's pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so Saluda's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
