Softball Recap: Rosholt Hornets vs. Tri-County Penguins        
        
		
            
 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Almond-Bancroft, Rosholt was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   12-7  win over the Tri-County Penguins. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Rosholt considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
  Addi Gagas made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and four unearned) runs off only  one  hit. Gagas was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Rosholt got a big performance out of  Gracie Flees, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.  Olivia Ostrowski was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 The  victory  got Rosholt back to even at 1-1. As for Tri-County, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
 Rosholt will head out on the road to  take on  Wild Rose at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Tri-County, they will  challenge Almond-Bancroft at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
