Basketball Recap: Fayetteville Street Christian Takes a Loss

Fayetteville Street Christian lost against Tabernacle Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to the Tabernacle Christian Rams. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tabernacle Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cortlyn Tanner, who posted 20 points. Crash Armor was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Fayetteville Street Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Tabernacle Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Fayetteville Street Christian has already played their next game (against Abundant Life Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tabernacle Christian and Cornerstone Christian Academy will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Tabernacle Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season.
