Baseball Recap: Eagle Pass Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eagle Pass can now relate to. They fell just short of the Clemens Buffaloes by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Buffaloes since March 5, 2016.

Eagle Pass' defeat dropped their record down to 19-11-1. As for Clemens, their victory bumped their record up to 25-7.

Eagle Pass does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clemens, they will square off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Buffaloes 2.9, the Bears 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
