Basketball Recap: Harrison Piles Up the Points Against Brooks County

Harrison saw some tournament action on Saturday. They blew past the Brooks County Trojans 74-37. That 37 point margin sets a new team best for the Hoyas this season.

Despite the loss, Brooks County had strong showings from Trae Stevenson, who posted 11 points, and Rodney Frazier, who earned seven points.

Harrison has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Brooks County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrison will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pebblebrook at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Brooks County, they will challenge Cook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Brooks County is facing Cook at the right time seeing as Cook is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
