Soccer Game Preview: Indian Creek vs. Rosary

The Indian Creek Timberwolves will head out to square off against the Rosary Royals at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Indian Creek has given up an average of 3.7 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Indian Creek is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Monday, they were much more limited against Byron on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Indian Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Byron are ranked 159th).

Meanwhile, Rosary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Lisle, falling 9-0.

Rosary's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Indian Creek, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
