Soccer Game Preview: Park Hill vs. Liberty

The Park Hill Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Liberty Blue Jays at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Park Hill is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Liberty better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Park Hill's game on Saturday is any indication, that's when Park Hill really gets things going. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over North Kansas City. Considering Park Hill have won five games by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Liberty faced off against Staley on Saturday. The Blue Jays beat the Falcons by a goal, winning 2-1.

Liberty has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those eight contests. As for Park Hill, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Park Hill beat Liberty by a goal when the teams last played on Thursday, winning 2-1. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Blue Jays have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
