Volleyball Game Preview: Archimedean vs. Pinecrest Prep Crocs'

Archimedean are taking a road trip to square off against the Pinecrest Prep Crocs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Archimedean will be strutting in after a win while Pinecrest Prep will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Thursday, Archimedean made easy work of Cushman and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Archimedean took every set by at least 19 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-6, 25-6.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Pinecrest Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Downtown Doral.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Downtown Doral scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 20-25, 25-20.

Archimedean's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Pinecrest Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2.

Archimedean suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Pinecrest Prep when the teams last played on April 2nd. Can Archimedean avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
