Nobody could stop William Espinoza on Tuesday as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with two or fewer walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 1.93 over 36.1 innings pitched.

Even though Espinoza couldn't lead Taft over Shafter, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
