Softball Recap: Frontier Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Frontier strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Burroughs Burros 19-3. Fans of the Titans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Bailey Freeborn was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Freeborn is crushing it when it comes to hits: she's got at least three every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Charley Hawkins, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double.

Frontier hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in eight consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Frontier's record now sits at 3-0. As for Burroughs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Frontier will take on Tehachapi in a tournament on Saturday. As for Burroughs, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bakersfield Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
