Softball Recap: West Brook Victorious

West Brook won the last time they faced Lee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bruins had just enough and edged out the Ganders 4-3.

Calleigh Burton (2027) made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Burton (2027) was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Burton (2027) wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kya Hadnot (2025), who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

West Brook's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Lee, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14-1.

Coincidentally, West Brook and Lee will both be playing Sterling the next time they take the field. The Bruins will head out to face the Rangers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Ganders will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
