Eastern Hancock is 0-6 against Frankton since May of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Royals are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 11:00 a.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Eastern Hancock will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Royals put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 11-3 win on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Royals as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Hayden Rouse, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kolt Wilson, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eastern Hancock kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Indianapolis Scecina Memorial only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, Frankton got the win against Blackford on Thursday by a conclusive 15-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Brady Carmack made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Carmack was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
In other batting news, Caine Oakley was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Frankton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 4-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Clem, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Frankton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Eastern Hancock, their record now sits at 5-11-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Eastern Hancock hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Frankton struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Eastern Hancock might still be hurting after the 14-3 loss they got from Frankton when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Can the Royals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
