Adrian Sanchez Delivers Best Performance of Season
Adrian Sanchez produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Glen Rose to the win on Friday. Sanchez picked up 175 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 60 yards.
Glen Rose pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Sanchez and Glen Rose will welcome Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Braylen Benson Turns in Season-Best Performance
Braylen Benson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hillsboro to the win on Friday. Benson rushed for 104 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win got Hillsboro back to even at 3-3. Benson and Hillsboro are on the road again on Friday to play Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m.

Canyon Evans Delivers Electric Effort Vs Godley
Canyon Evans posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played.
Evans must have Godley's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Evans last faced the Wildcats back in October of 2023, he threw for 214 yards and four touchdowns.

While Dunbar might've come up empty on Friday, Ja'Marion Garrett wasn't going down without a fight. Garrett was dynamite, rushing for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Dunbar has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Garrett will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Venus on Friday.

Jacoryn Johnson Turns in Another Game with at Least Eight Total Tackles
Jacoryn Johnson continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 17th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least eight total tackles. He turned in his biggest game of the season, forcing a fumble and making 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
This year, Johnson has averaged 11.5 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one forced fumble. This year he is already up to three.
