Softball Recap: Lonoke Takes a Loss

Lonoke's tournament run continued when they took on Quitman on Saturday. The Lonoke Jackrabbits fell 5-1 to the Quitman Bulldogs.

Lonoke saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coraline Spires, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Lonoke's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Quitman, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Lonoke wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-1 victory against Southside on the 15th. As for Quitman, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Bauxite on the 17th.
