Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carlson). They blew past the Taylor Griffins 8-0 on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Lillian Raines as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory made it two in a row for Carlson and bumps their season record up to 6-1-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Taylor, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Carlson will be playing in front of their home fans against Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Taylor, they are taking a road trip to face off against Inter-City Baptist at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Inter-City Baptist will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Taylor surely won't give up without a fight.
